First experiences and bugs

  • So I got my Luna and made some small first steps.

The Android app does not work at all. Not showing live pictures, not connecting to stored media and not recording/shooting. Im on a OnePlus 3 with Android 7.1.1.

The iOS app shoots, connects to media, but does not show a live picture either. Its an iPhone 5 with recent iOS.

For both apps I miss a function to tell me if im connected at all.

The PC Software crashes very often. Other than that it works so far.

For all of the software I'm missing a 360 degree viewing option.
Preferably with motion sensor steering on mobile devices.

That's it for now, thanks for reading/caring.

  • So after another day I figured out some things:
Apple App is worse than I tought. It takes 3 to 10 attempts to even connect to the wlan of luna on the iPhone5. When finally connected I could only do about 2 up to 5 shoots, then Luna wouldn't react to the app anymore.

Android: Way better than I thought. It actually works, even with preview. Trick is to turn off mobile data while being connected to the Luna WLAN. Sure it's a bug, but can actually use the Luna now.
Turning on mobile data again while connected, I still see the live picture, but cannot shoot anymore.
Also I didn't figure out yet how to view pictures and videos on Android.

Looks like your connection to play.Luna.camera was lost, please wait while we try to reconnect.
